RevOps and Marketing Specialist - Cape Town City Centre

Join a fast growing SaaS scale up in the chat commerce space as their RevOps and Marketing Specialist.

You will be responsible for overall lead generation within the revenue function the company. The role will be a combined one of a RevOps execution specialist as well as marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Look after and build out the automated lead generation engine for the various ideal customer profiles
    • This is specifically targeted outbound lead generation in bulk via email
    • Clearly understand the ideal customer profiles and the job to be done
    • Responsible for the copy for the outreach sequences
    • Writing compelling and persuasive copy that speaks to emotions, pain points and challenges
    • Define the target population, putting together and maintaining target lists
    • Campaign execution, maintenance and reporting
    • Tweak campaigns to get high value, qualified opportunities into the pipeline
  • General marketing content
    • Lead generation via product led content and marketing
    • This will be predominantly for socials, specifically LinkedIn (in the short term)
    • Consistently creating engaging content together with the in-house graphic designer
    • Posting it to socials in line with ideal customer profiles on a weekly basis
  • Building out a personal brand that can act as a network to market to
    • Using mechanisms like Meet Alfred to build a network of buyers within our ideal customer profiles
    • Pushing leads into the sales funnel and handing them off to the sales executives
    • SEO
      • Lead generation via SEO and content marketing
      • Take overall responsibility for SEO and its ability to drive qualified inbound leads
      • Keyword research (with the wider team)
      • Feeding blog with content into pillar and cluster articles
      • Drive consistent backlinking to increase domain authority
      • Ads (including google, LinkedIn etc)
        • Lead generation via paid advertising
        • Take overall responsibility to compile and execute ads for the ideal customer profiles
        • Responsible for the copy for all ads
      • Dashboarding for lead generation
        • The ability to effectively display all the lead generation efforts into simple performance tracking dashboards
        • Showing effort and successes of all lead generation levers

      What you will need

      • Minimum 2 years’ experience within a similar role within a SAAS software company
      • Experience in selling software B2B (compulsory)
      • Experience working with the following technologies (or similar) would be highly advantageous
