Rigging Engineering Supervisor - Johannesburg

RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Rigging Engineering Supervisor to join our client's team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing rigging operations and ensuring compliance with safety standards and procedures. Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate rigging activities, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently Supervise a team of riggers and provide guidance and support Inspect rigging equipment and ensure it is maintained and in good working order Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures Monitor rigging operations and identify areas for improvement Prepare reports and maintain accurate records Requirements Grade 12 or equivalent Rigger Ropesman trade certificate Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a rigger on deep level mines including Shaft and Winding systems Supervisory experience Good understanding of health and safety regulations Excellent communication and leadership skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work well under pressure Benefits Salary: Negotiable Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable) RPO is a Specialist Recruitment Agency that provides candidates and clients with unique recruitment solutions tailored to their needs.
