Description Benefits include provident fund and guaranteed 2-week bonus for a completed years’ service Job Description: The Forklift Fitter will be responsible for mounting and fitting forklift tyres for our clients. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of three years of experience in forklift Tyre fitment. This role requires regular travel between clients, therefore a valid driver's license with a PDP (Professional Driving Permit) is essential. Possession of a forklift license would be advantageous. 1. Operational: Mount and fit forklift Tyres according to client specifications and safety standards. Inspect forklift Tyres for wear, damage, or defects, and recommend appropriate actions. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools used for Tyre fitting. Ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to scheduling commitments. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and labor hours. 2. Financial: Optimize efficiency in Tyre fitting processes to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Manage inventory of Tyre fitting supplies and equipment to control costs and minimize waste. Provide accurate estimates for Tyre fitting services to clients. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the Tyre fitting operations. 3. Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in forklift Tyre technology. Participate in training programs to enhance skills in Tyre fitting techniques and safety procedures. Seek feedback from colleagues and supervisors to continuously improve performance. Share knowledge and expertise with team members to foster a culture of learning and development. 4. Customer: Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with clients to understand their specific Tyre fitting needs and preferences. Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail to meet or exceed client expectations. Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to foster long-term partnerships and repeat business. Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience in forklift Tyre fitment. Valid driver's license with a PDP. Forklift license (advantageous). Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
