Description: Hire Resolve's client, a reputable mining company in the Northern Cape is in search of a skilled Safety Officer to join their team. As a Safety Officer in the mining industry, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of employees and promoting a culture of safety within the organization. Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments Identify and report potential hazards and unsafe conditions Provide safety training and education to employees Investigate incidents and accidents, and recommend corrective actions Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations Maintain accurate safety records and documentation Requirements: Grade 12 Diploma in Safety Management/Relevant. COMSOC 1 and 2 and/or SAMTRAC 3 years' experience as a Safety Officer in the mining industry Knowledge of mining safety regulations and procedures Valid driver's license Willingness to work in the Northern Cape and start immediately.
