RPO Recruitment's client is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SAIPA Article Clerk to join their team in the Financial Services industry. As an Article Clerk, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in areas such as financial accounting, tax planning, and compliance. You will be exposed to various financial services clients and work closely with experienced professionals in the industry. This is a great opportunity for someone who is eager to start their career in accounting and gain the necessary skills to become a qualified Professional Accountant. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management accounts Perform general accounting tasks including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and journal entries Assist with tax planning, compliance, and filing of tax returns Conduct research on accounting and tax matters as assigned Participate in audits and assessments of internal controls Develop and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues Requirements BCom degree in Accounting or related field Strong academic record, with a focus on accounting and tax courses Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and accuracy Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a team and independently Prior accounting or finance internship experience is a plus Benefits Salary: R120K/yr - R144K/yr, negotiable Private Health Insurance Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable) Contact RPO Recruitment for your next career opportunity.
