KEY PERFORMANCEAREAS |
- Timeous verification and processing of below listed salary instructions in accordance with relevant policies and legislative requirements:
- Earnings
- Deductions
- Allowances
- To ensure the electronic short-term contract appointments are generated correctly onto the Payroll System including the management and capturing of claims against these contracts
- Capturing of AD-Hoc Payments on ITS System to comply with SARS and finance requirements
- Administering and issuing of pay slips through the Info-Slip system
- To Generate monthly reports of the entire payroll and verify the accuracy of the data.
- Reconciliations of the relevant reports and payroll control accounts. In preparation for the timeous payment to third parties, i.e. medical aid funds, pension/ provident funds etc.
- All queries need to be addressed in terms of the Payroll Departments Service Level Agreement and standards set.
- Proper Categorizing and storing of documents in line with current legislative requirements.
- Continuous review of and update of operational procedure documents

REQUIREMENTS |
In order to be considered for appointment to this position, candidates must possess: - A Senior Certificate (Matric)
- Minimum 2 Years relevant experience within a Payroll/HR environment
- Working knowledge on the ITS HR/Payroll system will be advantageous
- Degree or Diploma in HR or Payroll will be advantageous
