Job Posted: 18-Mar-2024 Location: Cape Town As the Sales, Marketing and Events Manager at this Boutique Hotel, we require someone with a high work ethic who can oversee, entertain and host any and all potential clients, guests and individuals coming to view the property. We require someone who not only sees the value of this Boutique Hotel but also believes in its mission to become one of the best Boutique Hotels in South Africa. Responsibilities Sales: You are required to reach out to any and all outlets of media and travel agents in order to upsell and market this Boutique Hotel and Spa. You are required to nurture relationships made between media and travel agent outlets and ensure agreements and contracts are kept to standard. You are required to host any and all potential clients invited to the property to showcase what the property has to offer. Marketing: You are required to nurture the relationship between the IT and social media departments to ensure they remain updated with all specials running for the year. You are required to reach out to the preferred graphic designers for any and all advertorial/design requirements and keep them updated with regards to collateral needed. You would be responsible for the collateral design and ordering of all branded stationary. You are required to work hand in hand with all HODs in order to be up to date with any and all specials each department would be running for the month or year. You are required to ensure all departments are up to date with the new specials running for the month or year. Required is someone who has some operational experience who can see where the business is lacking and coordinate the business development. Events: You are required to respond and quote any and all event requests. You are required to host potential event clients on the property to showcase what we have to offer. You are responsible to obtaining payment from the event clients and updating all departments regarding any events happening on the property. You will be required to coordinate the event on said event day and work hand in hand with the staff on property regarding layout and planning of the event.
