Petrocam Trading (Pty) Ltd was established in 2004 and is a South African commodity trading entity with a primary focus on petroleum and products trading throughout the African Continent. Petrocam's speciality is the facilitation of trade in emerging and developing markets, in particular in respect of African import and export flows of commodities. While Petrocam deals in a wide spectrum of commodities, its primary trade remains currently within the Petroleum Industry trading in refined petroleum products such as Gasoline, Gasoil, Kerosene, Naphtha, Lubricants and Greases into the African continent with a huge focus on West Africa. As the LPG Sales and Marketing Manager at Petrocam, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and expansion. Your primary responsibilities will include acquiring new clients, nurturing existing relationships, and strategically expanding our presence into untapped geographical markets. By leveraging your expertise in sales and marketing, you will contribute to the continued success of our business by maximizing market penetration and fostering long-term partnerships. Establish, Follow and Develop a portfolio of clients in specific geographical zones. Prepare quotations for clients, detect their needs and formulate satisfying strategies in coordination with the Management. Monitor and manage a full system of safety indoor and outdoor environments: Responsible for maintaining compliance with all standards related to Transportation of Dangerous Goods, including, DOT, Safety, Customer Satisfaction, SHEQ /SQAS Policies & procedures, Team Schedules, Team Communications, and Service & Maintenance Records. Responsible for working with the SHEQ department and providing the required monthly Behaviour Based Safety (BBS KPI's), Data and daily weekly and monthly reports required to maintain a compliant CAIA SA safety file. Responsible for Championing department communication strategies to support enhanced customer satisfaction and company expectations. Manage and monitor the delivery lines to ensure the top-quality delivery at the right time in safety condition and suggesting corrective measures if necessary. Determine and facilitate outsourcing requirements of vendors and outside carriers to ensure the best rates and service are employed to support the Petrocam experience to customers. Responsible for overseeing the logistics pertaining to customer delivery, ensuring timely and efficient distribution processes. Supervise turnkey logistics operations, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to optimize delivery schedules, and maintaining high standards of customer service. Survey and study the market, get to know risk factors and competition while searching for new clients and prospective ones. Produce a weekly report to the Management. Manage a team of distributors and follow up their performance and accuracy. Maintain and visit the clients regularly and follow up the consumption of the client. Analyse financial results with the Management. Suggest and participate in implementing new strategies. Conduct feasibility studies for new and existing clients. Tracking market developments, creating strategies, set up sales plans and maintain customer relationships. Coordinate with the advertising companies for advertisement, promotional items and marketing tools. Manage and provide guidance to the Logistics Manager, fostering a cohesive and results-driven team environment. Your strategic oversight of logistics operations will be instrumental in ensuring smooth and seamless delivery of our products to our valued customers. • Degree in sales and marketing or equivalent professional qualification • Drivers Licence • Prepared to travel country wide • Must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years sales and commercial experience within Liquefied Gas or similar field. • Full understanding of transport operational systems. • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills • A committed team player • Must be fully literate in English and Microsoft Office • Must have leadership, enthusiasm, endurance and charisma.
