Sales Consultant - Fintech - South Africa

Our client who is successful within the fintech industry , and is located in Techno Park, Stellenbosch is looking to employ an enthusiastic, well-networked professional who ensures the company implements sales strategies to excel at client management and sales operations. The client has grown by implementing new ideas and equipment in the payment processing industry to enrich payment solutions with automation and great tech. If you have good general insight into the payment industry and the ability to optimize the salesforce infrastructure and to contribute to developing our growing customer base, then this job might be for you Requirements: General business experience / acumen. A proven sales track record. Strong networking skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. Minimum 3 year’s Field/Outbound Sales experience. Previous exposure working within merchant services or banking sector is advantageous. Intermediate knowledge using Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sales Software & CRM. Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport is essential. Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Relationship building. Meet and exceed sales targets. Prospecting. The ability to recognize and qualify potential clients for target audience. Sourcing sales opportunities through cold calls and door-to-door field calls. Setting up meetings. Presenting solutions - become fluent in demonstrating the devices and related software. Understanding customer needs (Needs Analysis) to offer a complete payment solution. Clearly explain the advantages and benefits of using the device and software solutions. Closing the sale. Ensure that merchant is properly onboarded. Train merchants to use the device to take payments and sell VAS. Process orders/quotes via email, phone, face to face. Process your daily admin workflow / calls /support / orders / quotes on CRM platform. Do the picking-up and delivering of devices to merchants. Assist merchants with additional software on the devices as appropriate. Regularly follow up on merchants to ensure traction and usage of the POS devices. Ensure client satisfaction, and promptly escalate critical problems to management. Communicate important feedback from merchants internally. Reporting to the Sales Manager. Apply Now
