Sales Engineer - Surface Drill Rigs
Main Functions:
- Sales of DTH and (TH) drill rigs in South Africa and neighboring countries
- Post sale site handover and operational training of rigs
- Constant monitoring and feedback of drill rig performance
- Management and resolution of technical and commercial issues
- Maintaining customer relationships and trust
- Sales of drill tools and consumables (hammers/bits/drill rods etc)
- Serve as liaison between service teams and customer .
Knowledge base:
- Should have an established client base of surface drilling contractors, mine and quarry managers and other relevant industry stakeholders.
- Should have a thorough understanding of the blast hole landscape (competitors / available products / terminology)
- Should ideally be able to operate a drill rig with ease.
Reporting and other:
- Reports to the shareholders of the business
- Needs to be self-motivated and a self-starter
Remuneration:
Approx R70k CTC plus a commission on sales.
