Sales Manager - Bloemfontein

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and surpass sales targets.

  • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to ensure they are achieving their individual and team targets.

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and implement necessary changes.

  • Establish productive and professional relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

  • Coordinate with marketing and product development teams to ensure brand consistency and increase sales.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and report on the progress towards achieving them.

  • Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure the sales team is on board and knowledgeable.

  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.

  • Conduct regular sales training and workshops to improve the skills and techniques of the sales team.

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the sales department, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a sales management position.

  • A proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving sales growth in a business.

  • Experience in developing and executing sales strategies.

  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.

  • Willingness to travel as required by the job.

  • Professional sales training would be a strong advantage.
