The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving sales and maintaining client relationships within the Temporary Employment Services (TES) industry. This role requires a seasoned professional with a comprehensive understanding of TES practices, adept presentation skills, and a proven track record in meeting sales targets. Sales Targets: Responsible for achieving sales targets of at least R5.5 million Gross per annum, with a sales mix of 20% farming and 80% hunting. Client Retention: Develop strategies to find and retain clients, including regular client visits (minimum 1-2 times per month where possible) to ensure strong relationships and satisfaction. Proactivity: Must be a proactive individual capable of working independently with minimal supervision, taking ownership of tasks and driving initiatives forward. Reporting: Provide weekly sales reports to the Operations Manager, detailing progress, challenges, and strategies for achieving targets. Collaboration: Collaborate with the Operations Manager for client presentations when necessary, ensuring alignment in messaging and strategy. Legal Compliance: Thorough understanding of basic laws and national regulations governing the TES industry to ensure compliance in all operations. Track Record: A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in previous roles within the TES or related industries. No Restraint of Trade: Essential requirement, ensuring freedom to operate within the industry without limitations. A Fuel Card will be provided to facilitate travel requirements for client visits and presentations. Reporting Structure: Will report directly to the Operations Manager, working closely to align sales strategies with operational capabilities and objectives. Experience: The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Temporary Employment Services (TES) industry, demonstrating a deep understanding of its operations and nuances. Presentation Skills: Proficiency in presenting to clients and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including Board level presentations.
