We are looking for a dynamic sales manager within the KZN area. You will be reposible for For driving and achieving sales volumes, distribution, pricing, stock pressure and forwarding display objectives in accordance with expected standards. You must have a passion about sales, integrity, behighly motivated and be able to drive for results You must hav a minimum of 6 years related sales experienc. Show Strong leadership and people skills, effective communication, sales and negotiation skills, time management, ability to create sales plans and administrative reporting. You will be repsonsible for delivering the following; Volumes and Market Shares • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual volume targets • Identify volume opportunities • Identify new potential outlets • Identify problem areas and implement corrective steps • Manage pricing as per standards • Monitor opposition activity and implement reactive and proactive steps • Achieve Availability Targets • Market Share targets reached • Monthly, quarterly and annual targets achieved • Volume opportunities clearly identified and taken advantage of • Problem areas accurately identified and effectively dealt with • Pricing managed in line with company guidelines • Clear analysis of opposition's strategy communicated and effective measures implemented to counteract • Availability targets achieved Financial Control and Credit • Manage expense accounts as per agreed standards • Ensure that all discount offered falls within the defined parameters • Manage promo activation and stock budget • Communicate all credit risks and irregularities in trade to Management • Pod's and credit notes to be returned timeously • Expense accounts managed within budget • All discounts offered fall within the defined parameters • Promotions activities and stock within budget • Customers adhere to credit terms People Management and Personal Development • Ensure each member of staff has a job description and a clear understanding of all expectations • Hold monthly meetings with each staff member at which individual performance and objectives for following month are discussed • Conduct performance reviews annually • Assess staff's training needs • Hold weekly team meetings to review progress and discuss future strategy • Monitor team dynamics and take action to ensure good working relationships • Organise team building and goal setting sessions • A Highly motivated team striving for continuous improvement • All staff have clear, appropriate job descriptions • Performance reviews that promote staff development • Good working relationships among team members Promotions • Ensure correct implementation of promotional strategy • Design and implement innovative promotions. • Promotional feedback provided • Promotions plan effectively implemented as per targets set • Promotions are innovative, get people's attention and capture their interest. • Customer base managed and updated quarterly Apply Now
