Reference: SW004611-CL-2Sales Representative: Cape Town: One of Southern Africa’s largest suppliers of pre-packed fasteners and fixers, security products, and general DIY items to DIY enthusiasts, contractors, and hobbyists has a vacancy for a young, dynamic Sales Representative to market their vast range of products in the region.As this is an entry-level position, candidates with a maximum of 2 to 3 years' working experience will be considered.Only candidates who currently reside within close proximity to Cape Town region are invited to apply for this position. Position criteria: BCom qualification or equal to NQF7 (mandatory) Well-developed interpersonal skills A conscientious and open mind with an eye for new business opportunities Own vehicle and driver's license Experience as a Sales Representative will be an advantage Well established ability with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point & Outlook) Fluent in Afrikaans as first language and fluent in English (read, speak and write) Entry level position - candidate experience approximately 2 to 3 years maximum Key Competencies: Secure replenishment orders from existing customers Promote & maintain market leading retail ranges to current and potential new customers Develop and obtain new customers to maximise market share Continuously provide data-based performance feedback to customers To provide customers with technical, sales & promotional support with respect to products and retail events To work closely with the client's contractor base to source large project enquiries and convert it into sales Team player (working in a small dynamic Team) Must enjoy traveling and be prepared to sleep out when necessary Relationship-building remains essential, therefor the candidate must love to work with people Prepared to go the extra mile Be an excellent internal and external communicator Deliver on every promise and be eager to learn Continuous feedback and collaboration with Sales Manager to maintain company and personal growth Renumeration:Market related: Generous commission structure Cell phone allowance Travel allowance Vehicle allowance Vehicle maintenance allowance Start date: Urgent appointment - to start asapOnly candidates who currently reside in close proximity to Cape Town are invited to apply for this position plus Generous commission structure Cell phone allowance Travel allowance Vehicle allowance Vehicle mainte
