Our Client is looking for a Sales Representative to be responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals.
Duties
· Generating leads
· Identify and establish contact with potential customers
· Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers
· Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales
· Preparing weekly and monthly reports
· Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services
· Maintaining client records
· Assisting customers with queries related to products, pricing and availability
· Servicing of new and existing customers
· Completing of call reports
· Assisting customers with technical advice and queries
· Opening up of new sustainable accounts
· Achieving monthly target
· Establishing, developing and maintaining good customer relationships
· Identify new opportunities for potential sales
· Accurately report on market trends, pricing and projects
· Expedite sales orders
· Work closely with Internal Sales staff to ensure best possible service to customers
· Check stock, do quotes and process sales orders on Syspro
· Assisting the Counter Sales staff when required
· Sort out account queries and follow up on outstanding payments
Experience Required
· Syspro experience required
· Candidate must have 3-5 years’ experience in the Fluid Control Industry & product ranges (Pipes, Fittings, Valves, Flanges, Pumps & Irrigation)
· Experience as a Sales Representative will be a big advantage
· Sound knowledge of the Eastern Cape Province and surrounding areas
· Must be target driven regarding turnover and gross profit
· Understanding of sales process and dynamics
· A commitment to excellent customer service
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers
· Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
· Must have a valid drivers’ licence
