Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Representative with a proven track record in selling industrial chemicals. The ideal candidate will have expertise in one or more of the following sectors: water treatment, agriculture, animal feed, mining minerals, textiles, and detergents. This role involves developing and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets in the assigned sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify new prospects.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Present and demonstrate our range of industrial chemicals to prospective clients.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, contracts, and presentations to secure new business.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms of sales agreements.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to provide tailored solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Provide feedback to management on market conditions, sales activities, and competitor analysis.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote our products.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using CRM software.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the industrial chemicals industry.
  • Proven experience in one or more of the following sectors: water treatment, agriculture, animal feed, mining minerals, textiles, and detergents.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial chemical products and their applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
