A leading FMCG manufacturing company is seeking to employ a Wholesale Sales Representative to cover all wholesalers nationwide. The focus will be on the 20 litre bucket oil market and bakery business for in-store bakeries and deli. This role is for an ambitious and highly motivated individual seeking the rare opportunity to help scale a high growing environment across the wholesale channel in South Africa. Key responsibilities: Initiate communication to current and prospective wholesalers to grow the 20lt Palm, 20lt Sunflower bucket market, Baking margarines and shortening Must work closely with Buyers and Owners and drive sales into Wholesalers Drive sales out by ensuring sales plans and strategy are aligned to ensure growth Technical support to end users, training of wholesale reps and helping customer conversion from competitive products Respond to enquiries, providing comprehensive information both to the customer and internal departments Address customer needs, queries, and concerns courteously and promptly Build strong customer relationships by delivering personalized service and post-sales support Collaborate closely with the cross functional departments to ensure a seamless customer experience Accurately document customer interactions, enquiries and resolutions Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the line manager while delivering exceptional customer service Manage the market expectations Ticket resolution efficiently and effectively Develop and implement the channel strategy and marketing plans Requirements: Extensive Wholesale B2B experience Technical knowledge on oils and fats will be an advantage Must be willing to travel nationally within South Africa Current Wholesale relationships is a must The role will be based in Durban or Johannesburg, depending on where the Candidate is based.
