Sales Representative (Mechanical Seals, couplings, filtration, packaging) - Richards Bay

Seeking a seasoned Sales Representative within the mechanical seal industry. Reporting to the regional manager, this is a sale's driven, sales focused role. Maintaining existing customers, sales growth and increasing the market share will be paramount to the success of this role. Be responsible for achieving the short, medium- and long-term sales and orders objectives for sales area located in the Richard Bay region. In order to meet and exceed the business targets. To establish and maintain contracts across the region appropriately for the successful and profitable management of the region. To establish strategic alliances with end-users, cultivating long term commitment and co-operation for mutual benefit and added value. Be responsible for implementing the business development plans for sales areas, sales areas in line with the company's strategic direction for the region Liaise with various technical departments in order to provide engineered solutions / advice to end users. Prospect for new accounts and establish new accounts. Continuous visitations to end users to meet customer needs. Support and supervise installation of products when required. Promote new products, couplings, packing, filtration. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Qualified to at least engineering degree. Any additional business qualifications would be an advantage. 5-10 Years' experience of making business happen in the mechanical seal industry with a proven track record in strategic selling in a complex / technical / commercial environment KEY COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS: Creative problem-solving skills Excellent planning, project and time-management skills Results driven, both individually and within team Ability to work independently daily and be a strong "team player" within a sales/commercial team Experience in a distinctly customer service-oriented business. Technically capable, however knowledge of sealing products in the applied areas as oil, gas and petrochemical are essential would be an advantage. High levels of mental toughness and proven abilities to handle complex, fast moving and challenging commercial issues in a robust operating environment. Excellent communication skills both verbal & written is essential. Computer proficiency in MS Office, Outlook. Apply Now
