Our client is looking for a Sales Representative to be responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals. The ideal candidate must have experience selling mild steel and related products. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Generating leads. Identify and establish contact with potential customers. Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers. Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales. Preparing weekly and monthly reports. Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services. Maintaining client records. Assisting customers with queries related to products, pricing, and availability. Servicing of new and existing customers. Completing of call reports. Assisting customers with technical advice and queries. Opening of new sustainable accounts. Achieving monthly target. Establishing, developing, and maintaining good customer relationships. Identify new opportunities for potential sales. Accurately report on market trends, pricing, and projects Expedite sales orders. Work closely with Internal Sales staff to ensure best possible service to customers. Check stock do quotes and process sales orders on Syspro. Assisting the Counter Sales staff when required. Sort out account queries and follow up on outstanding payments. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 3-5 years' experience selling mild steel and related products is essential. Sound knowledge of the Eastern Cape province. Must be target driven regarding turnover and gross profit. Understanding of sales process and dynamics. A commitment to excellent customer service. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
