Sales Team Supervisor - Menlyn

Purpose: To coordinate and administrate resource Administration Insurance Duties & Responsibilities: 1.Supervise FAIS Compliance •Supervise the monthly maintenance of Representatives FSP register as compared to the FSCA •Conduct monthly checks on accreditation, legislation and fit and proper status of sales representatives •Assist in updating and implementing MSSI manuals according to legislative, industry and regulatory requirements •Ensure the team checks and rectify incorrect data on the Competence Register •Comply with Fit and Proper requirements for new recruitments •Supervise continuous updates on appointments and terminations on the FSCA register within required time frame •Conduct bi-annual accreditations on products, legislation, code of conduct and Fit and Proper status 2.Supervise effective and efficient appointments of representatives •Draft and implement the Recruitment & Selection Policy and Procedures •Supervise pre-approval of new appointments (Criminal, ITC, Fit & Proper Requirements & FSCA Register) •Supervise issuing of contracts, disclosure letters, appointment letters and code of conduct to representatives •Ensure application forms and recruitment documents are in order and signed agreements are obtained •Provide input into policies and procedures on In-house system and process enhancement •Assist with the appointment and cancellation of OC, OC Ackerman’s and SDC •Oversee performance ito SDC and OC agreements against contractual targets and report inefficiencies discrepancies to the Manager 3. Audit and Compliance •Assist Manager and investigate issues raised during Audit and Compliance monitoring •Ensure correct information is provided to the Manager to respond •Assist to implement recommendations from Audit and Compliance and ensure team members are notified of the implementations 4.Supervise debarment processes and procedures (TCF) •Assist with debarment and suspension of an agent/ broker when found guilty •Oversee removal of debarred representatives from in-house systems 5.Co-ordinate supervision processes •Oversee supervision of newly and existing appointed representatives •Oversee the monthly and quarterly supervision reports •Ensure that team members tick off incoming supervision documents and manage continuous updates on supervision records •Ensure reminders are send to the Sales team to submit supervision records 6.Personnel Management •Organize workflow and ensure that team members understand their delegated tasks •Monitor teams’ productivity and daily work performance •Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with sales team plans and communicate them to the team •Identify training needs and coach the team •Prepare and conduct performance appraisals •Ensure adherence to policies and procedures and undertake corrective measures if the need arises •Enforce discipline, maintain timekeeping and address non - compliance •Assist the team with escalated queries and resolve complaints from the team 7.Record keeping •Ensure record keeping is done within the required time frame and all necessary documents are scanned •Perform checks/audits in the neatness and quality of record keeping done by team members and address issues •Provide report on findings with plan of action to the Manager 8.Provide support to Sales Team •Oversee access to Aims granted for Sales Team according to set rules •Ensure access is revoked for terminated and suspended representatives •Liaise with various departments to support Sales Team •Co-ordinate and submit training list to both Training department and Regional Facilitators for newly appointed representatives •Prepare presentation slides and present to new Sales Managers •Oversee the granting of access for representatives, sales managers, OC’s, Ackerman’s OC’s, SDC’s and Broker support access to aims •Develop, educate and enable healthy and business orientated compliance culture on policies and procedures for Sales Administration •Monitor competence activities according to FAIS regulations and report defaults to the Manager •Attend to emails and telephone queries from the sales team within the required time frame 9.Commission advance and bridging requests •Manage and oversee bridging commission to representative within the required time frame •Ensure correct bridging amount is paid to representatives •Remind the sales team of submission dates for bridging applications •Attend to commission queries and provide feedback to Sales/Regional Managers •Process commission advances within the required time frame Formal Education: •Business Management Diploma/Degree/relevant •RE1 (advantage) •RE5 (advantage) •120 Credits on NQF 5 (Wealth Management) (advantage) Experience: •3 years’ experience in Sales •3-5 years’ experience in Management •3-5 year’s Sales Administration Apply Now
