The scholarship shall be awarded on the basis of the academic ability and preference will be given to those from rural schools, including the financial needs of the applicants. SANRAL reserves the right to withdraw any scholarship that may have been awarded on the basis of misrepresentation by the applicant and/or that the applicant is the beneficiary of other financial support schemes.
