What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it):? As our Junior Bookkeeper, you'll assist the Financial Manager to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the financial records. From assisting in maintaining financial records to processing accounts receivable/payable and preparing bank deposits, your role is crucial. You'll conduct monthly account reconciliations, assist with financial statements up to Trial Balance, and maintain an orderly accounting filing system. Your precision in handling VAT, tax filings, and utilising SAP for financial processes will support our financial team's success. Where you'll be doing it:? The perfect candidate brings at least 5 years of bookkeeping experience up to Trial Balance, preferably in a fast-paced FMCG environment, coupled with SAP system proficiency. A financial tertiary education is ideal, though a matric qualification is the minimum. Your strengths include a profound understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles, expertise in MS Office (especially Excel), and the ability to process financial information accurately. You'll ideally have your own transport but essentially have no transportation issues to get to the office and back. What you'll get:?
