Seafreight Export Controller - Jet Park - Boksburg

If so, then this role is for you We are seeking an experienced Seafreight Export Controller to join our Clients team based in Jet Park. You will be responsible for managing the smooth flow of exports for a high-volume VIP client, while also handling import forwarding for and additional global client. Responsibilities: Seafreight Exports (Core Function):Manage all aspects of seafreight exports for a VIP client averaging 100 containers per month across 5 shipments.Utilize ShipShape to handle bookings, stacking, and final invoicing.Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring the VIP client's demanding needs are met with pro-active communication and meticulous attention to detail.Maintain strong relationships with shipping lines and other stakeholders.Monitor shipment progress and communicate updates to clients.Oversee the completion of all export documentation and ensure compliance with regulations. Seafreight Imports:Manage import forwarding for a global client, ensuring smooth handover to their designated import broker.Utilize ShipShape to track import shipments and generate accurate invoices. Qualifications: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in seafreight forwarding, with a strong focus on exports.Proven expertise in ShipShape, including bookings, stacking, and invoicing functionalities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Understanding of import forwarding procedures is a plus.
