Job Title: Section Engineer - Mining Industry Location: Northern Cape, South Africa RPO Recruitment's client is looking for a skilled Section Engineer to join their mining operation in the Northern Cape region. As a Section Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing engineering projects, providing technical support, and ensuring safe and efficient mining operations. Responsibilities: Developing engineering designs, plans, and specifications for mining projects Overseeing the construction and implementation of mining infrastructure Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of mining equipment and machinery Providing technical support and guidance to mining operations team Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards Managing budgets and resources for engineering projects Liaising with external contractors and suppliers as necessary Investigating and resolving any technical issues or challenges that arise during mining operations Essential Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mining, Mechanical, or Electrical) GCC Mines and Works Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Section Engineer in an open cast mining environment Proven Experience with Heavy Earth Moving Equipment Strong technical knowledge of mining equipment, machinery, and processes Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and industry best practices Benefits: Salary: Negotiable Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Paid Time Off (PTO) If you meet the above requirements and want to make a career-changing move, apply today by either filling in the online application form or emailing your CV to RPO Recruitment at miningrporecruitment.us Alternatively, you are also welcome to contact Anzaan Kennedy on LinkedIn or call her on 021 180 0776.
