Security / Jnr Infrastructure Technician - Franschhoek

Duties :

• Setup, troubleshoot & maintenance of all security systems
• Preventative maintenance of network cabinets & field boxes
• Liaise with control room & contractors
• Operating of network & electric tester
• Troubleshoot network issues
• Check/monitor all security system servers and workstations
• Check DSTV day to day
• Administration (keep information of the systems and devices on the site up to date)

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• 3-5 years experience in Security System roles
• Valid drivers licence and own transport essential
• Advantageous system knowledge:
  • Fire systems training (Bosch),
  • CCTV (IP system) training (Bosch),
  • Alarm system training (Dsc panels) (watchmanager software),
  • Fire system training (Bosch),
  • Biometrics training (Impro ixp400),
  • Electric fence training (Nemtek),
  • Doorphone training (IP7, Accentronix),
  • Basic network skills.
• Excellent communication skills both English & Afrikaans
