You should be a competent, driven and dedicated Senior Account Manager, with a great work ethic, excellent writing skills and a can-do attitude. Minimum requirements : • Tertiary qualification in Public Relations/Communications • 6 – 8 years PR agency experience • Understands PR principles - with very good media relations, and an understanding of stakeholder management • Creative • Excellent writing skills • Good PR agency experience and track record • Candidate needs to be able to cope in a very fast paced, deadline driven, quick turnaround environment, with the ability to roll up sleeves and get the work done. • A good knowledge of the South African media – with good media contacts • Ability to develop strong angles and pitch these to the media • Ability to generate communication strategies •Ability to develop and implement project; media and communications plans • Strong on Process, systems and reporting • Resourceful • Self-starter • Ability to handle/manage a few client accounts simultaneously • Strong attention to detail • Proactive – out of the box thinking
