Senior Accountant - - Pretoria

My client is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join their team and take charge of their financial operations with finesse.
This position is based in Pretoria East.

Duties:

Reviewing financial records, including back recons and cashbooks, and providing insightful reports on balances.
Assisting in month-end procedures to ensure smooth and efficient financial closings.
Ensuring all finance operations and documents are processed accurately and promptly.
Conducting monthly balance sheet reconciliations with meticulous attention to detail.
Assisting with year-end audit requirements to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Reconciling intercompany and intergroup transactions to maintain financial integrity.
Providing direct support to the Property Accountant to streamline monthly billing processes and uphold procedural standards.
Compiling monthly VAT schedules and conducting thorough analytics to ensure compliance and accuracy, ready for review by the Financial Manager.
Processing depreciation, accruals, and intercompany loan interest journals accurately.
Reconciling all PPS documents to investment property registers with precision.
Tackling any other ad-hoc tasks as required with efficiency and dedication.
