Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to help oversee our company's UK accounting functions and financial operations based out of Cape Town. Monthly Close and Financial Reporting Budgeting and Forecasting Internal Controls and Compliance Financial Operations Process Improvement and Automation Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CA qualification preferred. Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role. In-depth knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations, with experience in tax compliance and planning. In-depth knowledge of Europe tax laws and regulations, with experience in tax compliance and planning a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions. Proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Excel. Experience working with Salesforce Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. Ability to work flexible hours a plus
