SENIOR ACCOUNTANT/BOOKKEEPER REQUIRED TO START IMMEDIATELY

Chartered Accounting (SA) and Tax Practitioner firm, based in Milnerton, Cape Town requires a senior bookkeeper/accountant.
Market-related salary based on position and experience: R22000 R32000 CTC

Unsupervised responsibilities subject to review include but are not limited to the following:

Pastel accounting processing.
SARS e-filing and Accfin tax package.
Draft Worx compilation of annual financial statements.
Communication with clients.
Management of SARS e-filing profiles and preparation of income tax and other tax returns.
Provisional tax.
General instructions working on SARS e-filing profile for clients on queries and other SARS issues including administration issues.
Monthly PAYE, VAT, and other statutory returns.
Any other tasks relevant to the position.

Preferred requirements:

Attention to detail.
Exposure to Excel, Word, Microsoft Teams, Pastel, SARS e-filing
Communication skills and interactions with clients and staff in a professional manner.
Degree or diploma in accounting/tax with relevant work experience advantageous.
