The main purpose of this role is to be accountable for the management of the Assessment strategy to ensure sound selection and development decision making, using valid and reliable psychometric assessments. Responsibilities: Manages the assessment process and designs selection and development assessment strategies Designs and develops the assessment strategy, framework and methodology for consistent application throughout the Foundations pipeline Aligns the assessment practice to defined competency frameworks within the company's defined success profiles at all levels of the Entrepreneurship pipeline. Researches and benchmarks best practices in assessment methods and tools. Sources and develops cost-effective, on-line and valid assessment instruments, through various suppliers. Managers a budget and a team of internal and external Assessment Specialists. Provides thought leadership, researches and benchmarks best practices in Entrepreneurial Assessment Management. Monitors and measures the implementation and impact of assessment outcomes and practices across the Foundation's pipeline. Empowers and builds HR capacity to achieve Beneficiary / Candidate Assessment outcomes. Manages and mitigates risks in area of accountability and ensures clean audit, risk and compliance reports. Establishes and maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders, contract Psychologists and Assessment service providers. Understands the full Assessment value chain and has experience integrating assessments into Learning, performance and overall beneficiary development. Works closely with Learning and Development Specialists to align development to Success profile methodology. Requirements: Honour's Degree in Psychology / Industrial Psychology (Required) Master's Degree in Psychology / Industrial Psychology (Preferable) Registration as Psychometrist and/or Psychologist with the HPCSA At least five years' working experience in an assessment centre and recruitment environment (preferably at a similar level) of which two years should be in administering competency and psychometric assessments. Experience in advising Line Managers and building HR capability around assessment governance and practice.
