You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners. You’ll also help organisations understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties, as well as providing advice on tax implications of deals. The primary focus of the role is to prepare and manage (with the support of the senior manager) multiple audit of tax, compliance and tax accounting assignments in the PwC Private tax practice and to deliver quality tax services. Responsibilities of the role: Manage and perform corporate tax accounting assignments. Manage and perform audit of tax assignments. Manage and perform corporate tax compliance assignments, including preparation, review and submission of income tax and provisional tax returns. Builds new and manages existing client relationships and demonstrates basic knowledge of client’s businesses. Liaising with SARS and handling queries raised by SARS. Engage in technical discussions with colleagues and clients and draft written technical responses. Manages multiple clients, budgets and production goals and comply with firm risk policies and procedures. Qualifications and experience: BCom Accounting completed Post graduate Degree or Diploma in taxation or in process of studying in this regard; Completed SAIT articles 1 years post article experience in a corporate income tax position Skill set required The ideal candidate will be: Able to work under pressure in a deadline driven environment; Able to grasp, navigate and solve complex business processes and problems; Performance driven; Digitally fit; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;Sales- & future oriented; Pro-active; Well organized; Able to multitask, yet still pay attention to detail; and Eager to learn.; and A good communicator.
