Senior Business Development Manager (Retail) - Johannesburg

Who are we looking for: A dynamic, experienced, networked professional Business Development Manager for the South African business What will you do: To take the lead on complex and large value clients within the retail sector, ensuring the identification and generation of new business opportunities so as to contribute to overall business expansion, profitability and sustainability. Execute new business development strategies. Deliver effective client solutions through: Participating in client sessions and responding to RFPs. Leading client pitches and engagements. Conducting impactful sales presentations. Negotiating growth incentives and commission rates. Managing budgets and tracking account activity. Implementing and monitoring project plans for successful client solutions. What do you need: 8- 10 years’ relevant experience in marketing, sales and/or new Business development with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Relevant exposure to local and global retail environment Leadership and emotional maturity. Coaching, team development, and transformative leadership. Impactful decision-making and risk management.
