Sovereign Foods is a national supplier of quality chicken products to various markets and has operations in five provinces. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and skilled candidates for this position within the Group Office, based at the Kariega Operations. The successful applicant will report directly to the CFO. The Senior Financial Manager will be responsible for group cost analysis, financial controls and reporting. The job holder must have a tertiary qualification B.Com CA (SA), 3-5 years' experience and be highly computer literate. This position carries the grade of T15 . Monitor financial controls and identify weaknesses across the divisions. Conduct cost analysis to identify areas where costs can be reduced or optimized. Assist in identifying and assessing financial risks faced by the company. Analyze financial reports to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Support the development of financial plans and strategies to achieve company goals. Assist in implementation of financial and reporting systems. Review stock and inventory for the group monthly. Monitor capital and operational projects against approved budgeted spend and reporting thereof. Strong Analytical skills Good verbal and written communication skills Good reporting skills Advanced computer skills (especially in MS Excel) CA (SA) qualification
