Hire Resolve is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a reputable Civil Engineering Consulting company in Durban. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing the cost aspects of construction projects. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery. Other duties entail: Co-ordinate and manage Assistant Resident Engineers responsible for various work packages. Review designs and drawings, ensuring correctness and compliance. Monitor construction activities to track progress. Implement quality and cost control measures and provide detailed reporting. Manage project risks effectively. Administer contracts using various agreements, including NEC4. Ensure adherence to the Company's ISO9001 Quality Management System. Requirements 15 years of experience in Civil Engineering Consultancy with expertise in Monitoring Construction Projects Competent in the Water and Sanitation Field, specializing in Bulk Water and Bulk Sanitation Proficient in Contract Administration, with experience in NEC3/4 being advantageous Knowledge in General Municipal Services is an added advantage Must have Pr TechEng, registered with ECSA PrCPM certification is an added advantage.
