A world-recognised organisation is looking for a Senior Client Relationship Manager. The main purpose of the role is to independently market and acquire new large corporate client relationship and expand client base as well as onboard new corporate customers for foreign exchange business and trade. Your key responsibilities will include, but is not limited to: Independently market and acquire new large corporate client relationship and expand client base. On boarding new corporate customers for loan, deposit, foreign exchange business, trade finance etc. inline to the bank's relevant policies and procedures. Work together with another colleague as a team to reach the quarterly/annually targets set by the bank, be accountable for obtaining quarterly and annual targets. Maintain sound relationships with clients, dealing with requests from clients, point of contact for client requests. Ad hoc duties as assigned by the management. Main Competencies: Good knowledge of FICA, FAIS, Company's Act, Banks Act, as well as any other legislations and regulations related to the corporate banking business. Good marketing skill, people skill, strong ability of communication and coordination. Work well under pressure and deadlines. Adopting and responding to changes. Strong analytical skill and problem-solving ability. Excellent teamwork spirit Requirements: Bachelor degree or above from a reputable university (Honours Degree or Master Degree preferable), and has FSCA qualification of RE5; Preferably10 years credit working experience in a corporate and investment banking (CIB) environment, preferably coming from a top 5 South African bank's CIB function, or a foreign bank's South Africa branch which ranks top 5 in total scale of assets. Managerial experience will be advantage. Familiar with providing corporate banking including general banking facility, revolver, term loan, project finance, syndication loan business to large corporate in South Africa. Significant knowledge of the financial industry. Proven of track of records including currently maintaining the relationship of the industry leading SA companies and the approved credit limit to a single corporate client is over R200million.
