Minimum Requirements

Matric
Valid Drivers License & Own Vehicle
3 5 years experience working in a similar role
Experience in either Airfreight, Sea freight and Road freight
Strong Export and Import knowledge
Extensive experience on shipshape or cargowise
Prepare Import & Export documents in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
Calculate duties, tariffs, price conversions, weight & volume of consignments that is imported to South Africa or exported to foreign countries
Verify accuracy in accordance with clients physical shipments & customers SLI, volume, value of goods, country of origin and any other regulatory requirements.
Attend to Track & Trace of clients shipments Air, Ocean, or Road
Communicate with clients about their consignment progress
Coordinate shipping with customs agents locally
Coordinate with clearance agents overseas
Deal with prospective shippers, where and when necessary
Handle any shipment problems that might happen to occur
