Senior Embedded Developer - Cape Town City Centre

Requirements:
- Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in engineering or a related field
- 5 years of experience in product development, ideally in the field of lithium-ion batteries, inverters, IoT, AI, machine learning, or smart home technology
- 5 years of experience in either C++ for embedded systems or JS, HTML, CSS for front end development.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- At least familiar with RTOS (Real time operating systems)
- Strong understanding of low-level programming languages
- Able to write efficient code for and memory-constrained microcontrollers
- Familiar with microcontroller architectures and how to interface with hardware
- Experience in interfacing with common communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, and TCP/IP
- Experience with logic analyzers, oscilloscopes and in circuit debuggers
- Experience with standards and regulations such as CE, ICASE and or international standards such as FCC, UL and should be able to design and develop products that meet these standards
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and programming languages
