Senior Energy Consultant - Grid - - Johannesburg

Leading international consulting engineering firm is looking for a Senior Energy Consultant with a focus on Grid connections and large project context to join their Energy Division in Cape Town or Johannesburg.

Requirements:

BSc. or BEng. Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Preferably with a further qualification in renewable energy
Professionally registered with ECSA
8 or more years relevant experience
Recognizable experience relevant in the energy sector with specific exposure to the renewable energy and in particular grid connections.
Project Management and support to lead and deliver technical advisory, owner's engineer and design services within the renewable energy sector for clients
Preparing and delivery of bids and proposals and writing technical reports and presentations, checking and reviewing reports, drawings and presentations by others.
Driving the development of more junior energy team members across the South African offices via mentoring and provision of technical and commercial guidance.
