Our client is looking for an innovative and vibrant individual to join their orginisation for the position of Senior Engineer. To monitor and oversee the status of construction projects, through the involvement of creating budgets, reviewing safety issues, managing construction progress and teams of technical & supervisory staff. Duties and Responsibility Construction Phase & Technical Manage Project Contracts, Manage Contract programme and allocated budget, Assist site staff with technical knowledge, Tender evaluation and recommendation – if Service provider requirement, Ensure Orginisation standards, policies and procedures are adhered to, Construction supervision, Responsible for quality control related to all work being executed. Ensure Orginisation standards, policies and procedures are adhered to, Construction supervision, Responsible for quality control related to all work being executed Administration Technical report writing, Contract administration, Adhere to Orginisation's BMS requirements. Ensure administrative procedures are followed, Project Budgets & Financial Complete cost estimations for all phases of a construction project and develop a complete budget, Monthly invoicing, Monthly monitoring of budgets. Manage Technical Staff Oversee the work of technical staff Ensure that all safety and regulatory issues have been addressed and resolved. Mentorship Mentor junior staff and site staff on technical and contractual matters, Assist site staff with technical matters, Deal with daily requests and issues. General confidentiality Contribute To The Ongoing Development Of The Management Services Department Perform Duties Commensurate With The Responsibilities Of The Roles And Ad Hoc Projects As Required From Time To Time Cooperate And Comply With Internal And External Regulations Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Postgraduate Qualification in Civil Engineering ECSA Professional Registration as Pr Eng 10 – 15 years' of related experiences 10 and more years' relevant experience
