Senior Group Accountant - Cape Town City Centre
As the Senior Group Accountant you will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:
Prepare accounting analysis for complex contracts and transactions
Contribute to key financial initiatives as required
Oversee the Group Technical Accounting Policies and ensure theyre in compliance with FRS102
Develop training programs for Technical Accounting Policies
Review financial data, prepare notes and provide support for the consolidated financial statements
Review balance sheet reconciliations regularly across global entities and provide support where necessary
Provide technical accounting support
Skills & Experience:
A professional finance designation such as CA(SA) or AGA(SA)
Proven experience in year-end group consolidation processes in audit or commerce
Working knowledge of IFRS standards with emphasis on 15 and 16
Multi-currency experience
Qualification:
Relevant finance degree
Completed SAICA articles
