To be successful in this role, a HR Specialist should have a strong understanding of Human Capital best practices and regulations, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of employees Responsibilities: Recruitment Provides a recruitment service ensuring compliance with the company recruitment policy in conjunction with the Chief Human Capital Officer. Create and implement effective onboarding programs. I.e. Induction training Administering employee benefits: Medical Aid; Pension Fund; Employee wellness and funeral cover etc. Industrial Relations: All IR related matters Administration of Employment Equity Completion and submission of Employment Equity report in conjunction with the Human Capital Manager, ensuring that all Employment Equity details are updated, and quarterly meetings are done. Performance Management: Coordination and completing of PPRD (Performance planning, reviews, and development) with the Managers. Terminations: Completion of all documentation relating to termination. General administration: Provides a general administration service to employees as well as advice pertaining to Human Capital policies and procedures and guidance in general Qualifications: -Matric - Higher Diploma or Degree qualification from a recognized institution - VIP Payroll phase 1&2 - High level of computer literacy - Excellent knowledge of labour and safety legislation Experience: - 5 years’ experience in Human Capital. - Exposure to all aspects of Human Capital - Computer literate - Excellent communication skills, attention to detail.
