Forwarding – Complete function including: comprehensive and complete understanding of pricing both in terms of freight rates and origin charges Liaising with both clients and agents in efficient, professional manner Track shipments online / telephonically Able to work early /after hours / weekends where necessary Able to draw cargo from airline if needed. Registering files on system, tracking shipments on an international and local level, submitting Pre-framed customs entries for clearance, updating customers. Delivery – Co-ordinating multiple deliveries with transporters. Billing / Invoicing – Understands concept (revenue / disbursement) and is able to apply same. Queries – Is able to resolve queries timeously.
