We have an opportunity for a Senior Insights Executive to oversee all research activities during the planning, setup, and ongoing management of our client's research projects.As an experienced Senior Insights Executive, you will possess a keen ability to balance client demands with internal timelines. You will ensure that projects remain on schedule, within budget, and guarantee client satisfaction.A Senior Insights Executive is both an analytical thinker and a strategic thinker who performs well under pressure. You will be able to manage multiple customer accounts while ensuring quality outputs and clearly articulated insights.Industry / Business Knowledge and Relationship Management:Actively getting to know the client’s business/industryBuild ongoing client relationships to ensure loyalty and satisfactionProposals and Costing: Set up proposals and costing (when requested) with support and input from the insights leadAble to translate client business or research objectives into an effective research project designConsiders multiple design options to achieve the research objectiveRecommends optimal design based on methodology, cost, time, accessConsiders sampling, quotas, bias effects, routing, filters, reporting outputsConsiders need for external suppliers where appropriate (stats, field, qualitative moderators etc.)INSIGHT COMMUNITY / CONSUMER PANEL SET-UPSProject Management of Research Projects:Set-up of project deliverables and timelinesAllocate project tasks on the internal project management systemIf requested, communicate with the client on the status of the project (including ad-hoc projects)Management of project tasks in accordance with timelinesCommunicate with internal teams on an ongoing basis regarding project statusQuestionnaire Development:Designs questionnaires or discussion guides for discussion with client/checks and approves a questionnaire set up by a research executiveFinalises and signs-off questionnaire or discussion guide with the clientBriefs the operations teams for scripting or authoringTests questionnaire (i.e. logic, flow, length etc.)Analytics and Statistics: Compiles analytical plan in consultation with the insights leadCommunicates details of tabletop breaks to the operations teamCommunicates and discuss any modelling required with the statisticianAssesses whether weighting of data is required by comparing the achieved sample distribution relative to the idealCommunicates to the operations team and statistician the distributions to weigh towards if requiredModerating (if experience allows): Moderates online discussions where appropriateReporting: Prepares visual and insightful reports detailing key insights (requesting input guidance as needed)Presents results to client face-to-face when neededRequirements:Minimum of 3 years of project management experience5 plus years of research experienceWell-rounded experience covering brand health, communications testing and product innovation project work within the FMCG/ CPG and retail sectorsCompleted a relevant degree but preferably post-graduate qualificationsProfessional presentationExcellent command of the English language i.e. written, spoken, grammar and writingFluency in additional languages of the African continent an advantage (French, Portuguese and/or Arabic in particular)Strong in numeracy (statistical knowledge and experience an advantage)Excellent time management, organizational, problem solving and analytical skillsExcellent attention to detailAbility to service several clients at one timeAbility to work well under pressure and possess a high degree of tenacityProficient with Microsoft OfficeAptitude for technology and softwareStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPlease note: As all IQbusiness roles require honesty in the handling of or access to cash, finances, financial systems, or confidential information; our recruitment process requires that the following background checks be completed: credit, criminal, ID, and qualification verificationIQbusiness is committed to sustainable growth and transformation, we embrace diversity and employ previously disadvantaged individuals See Description See Description Apply Now
