Qualification

Duties

Analyse and prepare quotations documents and telephonic and/or emailed enquiries received from customers
Prepare quotations for all external customers to the customers requirements
Ensure that all prices quoted are 100% accurate and are to the customers specifications and requirement
Ensure all customers Terms and Conditions for RFQ can be met and are to our standard
Ensure that quotation reaches customer within an acceptable time.
Follow up with customer in regard to submitted RFQs and give feedback to Management
RFQs received and submitted must be logged on the register and updated accordingly
On receipt of order, response to be sent to relevant customer
Constant communication with the Warehouse on a daily basis with regards to deliveries and physical stock availability
Advise customer immediately of any issues regarding stock were applicable with our terms and conditions
Respond to and resolves account queries received from clients (credit notes) in a timeously manner.
Discuss and resolve problems with the expeditor/Buyer
Follow up on back-orders and buy-outs daily in order to avoid any delays
Communicate with Transport department and Expeditor with regards to deliveries
Weekly expedite reports to Procurement for Works Order and Fabrication order updates
Weekly expedite reports to Sales Manager

Requirements

Intermediate Excel skills
Manufacturing/piping/pipe fittings/steel/flanges/fabricated products - ESSENTIAL
Must be computer literate
Technical Competence
Strong Sales background - 8 YEARS
Above average administrative skills
Product knowledge an advantage
Good track record
