Senior IT Manager - Johannesburg
Purpose of the Role:
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the role exists in order to enable the business through the effective and efficient delivery of information and operational technology, information management, as well as reliable service to the business.
The incumbent will be responsible for strategic business partnership, which entails establishing the IT, OT, information needs of the business, recommending appropriate solutions for approval, implementing approved solutions, monitoring performance, and evaluating the effectiveness of solutions and services delivered
Key Performance Areas:
Identify key business risks facing the company and their implications for IT, OT, IM and service delivery
Review the companys technology landscape
Contribute to the establishment of a fit for purpose IT strategy and operational plan to address identified business risks; including resources requirements to support the strategy
Establish an IT governance framework, including policies, processes and governance forums
Implement approved strategies, plans, and processes, including disciplined planning and prioritisation of IT investment
Management IT projects
Apply technology to enable business processes and transform data into actionable insights
IT/OT asset management
Cultivate productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Deliver reliable service to the business
Effectively manage outsourced IT services
Establish Service Level Agreements internally and externally
Manage IT procurement effectively
Build/source required technical, analytical, and business engagement skills
Effective team leadership in line with the company Leadership Framework, Legitimate Leadership
Measure and evaluate performance (including supplier performance), ensuring that IT efforts deliver expect benefits
Management reporting
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in IT or equivalent
Minimum of 8 years post qualification experience
3-5 years of leadership experience
Deep understanding of IT and OT infrastructure
Manufacturing experience in a medium to large environment

Strong team leadership
Business acumen
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
ITIL and COBIT application experience
Good communicator (written and verbal)
Ability to engage cross-level, internal and external stakeholders effectively

Ability to work effectively under pressure
