Managed People Solutions is looking to fill a Senior Management Accountant role for a well-known Liquor Company based in Cape Town Responsibilities Maintain and control all balance sheet accounts for all the stores Banking - Ensuring all the cash books balance, shorts and overs are accounted for and cash control balances Debtors Control - ensuring all the debtors control accounts agree to the Aged Trial Balance Creditors Control accounts - ensuring all the debtors control accounts agree to the Aged Trial Balance Maintain all other balance sheet accounts and recons Asset Management - Additions, Depreciation and Disposals of Assets Maintaining the asset register Year End Journals for depreciation Reconcile any tax queries raised Compile reports for statistics SA as an when required Maintain an accurate list of ullages, expired stock & breakages in the group Preparing sales turnover reports for External Auditors Attend to Queries raised by external Auditor Preparation of Year End Audit File for all the companies Submit to senior management and effect changes as recommended by senior management Process Year End Journals Participate in the Annual Audit Process, attend to all queries raised by the audit team Requirements Grade 12 Bookkeeping Certificate / Accountant Diploma 1-2years
