Senior Manager: Finance - Johannesburg
Our client has an opportunity available for a Senior Manager in the Finance department based in Constantia Kloof. Requirements: Willingness to travel and have flexible work hours. BCom in Accounting. 5 to 10 years’ experience as an accountant. 5 years’ management experience. 3 to 5 years SAP proficiency. Relevant legislation and governance matters relating to risk and finance knowledge. Chartered accountant would be advantageous. Responsibilities: Financial management of all daily, monthly and annual financial functions. Manage debtors and creditors to ensure sufficient working capital. Optimise the use of IT systems to improve efficiency in the transaction process. Develop and manage the business plan for the area being managed. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to develop business plans. Conduct performance management and monitor performance continuously. Accomplish financial objectives for the department. Manage financial risks to mitigate threats to the financial integrity of the company. Implement effective systems for performance measurements for risk management.
