Hire Resolve is currently working with a reputable company in Northern Suburbs of Cape Town that is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with experience in the Transportation, Logistics, and Supply Chain industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of the company. Responsibilities: Design and develop mechanical systems and components for transportation equipment Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate designs for efficiency and performance Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of mechanical systems with other components Perform analysis and simulations to optimize mechanical designs Create and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test plans Conduct performance tests and troubleshoot mechanical issues Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies Lead and mentor junior engineers Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering, or 5 years experience in the direct industry. Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and engineering software Experience with CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Excellent communication and leadership skills Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus Benefits Salary negotiable Contact Hire Resolve for you next career-changing move.
