This is a key role within the company, responsible for developing and implementing effective merchandise and location planning strategies to drive sales and profitability. The Senior Merchandise & Location Planner will work closely with the buying, marketing, and operations teams to ensure optimal product assortment and allocation to each store location. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a solid understanding of retail merchandising concepts. Responsibilities: Develop and implement merchandise and location plans that align with the company's sales and profitability goals Analyze sales trends, inventory levels, and customer demand to optimize product assortment and allocation Collaborate with buying team to develop seasonal assortment plans and identify potential growth opportunities Monitor and evaluate store performance and make recommendations for store-level adjustments Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels at each store location Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of merchandise and location plans Stay updated with market trends and competitive landscape to anticipate potential challenges and opportunities Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in merchandise planning or retail buying Strong analytical and numerical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel Excellent communication and negotiation skills Proven ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Knowledge of retail merchandising concepts and best practices Benefits Salary: Negotiable RPO is a Specialist Recruitment Agency that provides candidates and clients with unique recruitment solutions tailored to their needs.
