Are you seeking an opportunity to live and work in Australia? This is a permanent position. We are looking for a qualified Senior Mining Engineer with at least 10 years of experience in mining. The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following: • Lead, coach, and mentor a small team of mining engineers - 1 engineer at each site. • Produce mid-term plans from 1 month up to 2 years. • Liaise with supervisors, superintendents, and technical staff to ensure timely planning and delivery. • Identify areas of technical and business improvement to increase excavator and truck productivity and/or reduce mining costs. • Monthly plans for two coal mines. Minimum 10 years' experience in the coal sector in the mining industry Engineering qualification in mining work in a multi-disciplinary environment.
